You wanna know how good it felt to thump the Celtics?
The AP game recap has this BS: "And there was no panic this time. Just a lot of Magic."
AND I DON'T EVEN CARE!
In a world where Charlie Brown never kicks the football, the Buccaneers always have a terrible O-line and taxes are always too high, the Magic actually increased a fourth quarter lead.
Hedo Turkoglu deserves a lot of credit(which he's already getting on TNT as I type), but the man who won't get nearly enough is one Mickael Pietrus. Wow.
17 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal in 24 minutes, to go along with some absolutely epic defensive effort on Pierce and Allen. They simply could get nothing open. Credit to Courtney Lee as well for being an absolute nightmare for Eddie House, and for making one of the greatest recoveries I've ever seen to block Ray Allen's layup late. Amazing.
Lord, even Stan was smiling in the locker room. That's how you know it went right.

The Mission. The Statement.
We are Terry and The Pump Fakes, Jareth Cutestory, Vile Feminista, Maxwell Effort, I 3 Freely, Paul Ego, Supply and Demand, El Fantasma de Carlos, The Big Train, The Nickel Steak, Ayo!, and Tyson J. Perfect. Together, we are Magic fans. We remember Nick’s steal against Jordan, Billy Donovan, Scott Skiles, Jerryl Sasser and Reece Gaines, The Mac Attacks, the NBA on NBC, and Grant Hill’s ankle. We also watch TV and read the internet, thus noticing the endless flow of unoriginal Orlando Magic related puns. We have combined to discuss the Magic, the NBA, and from time to time supply side economics and the life of Leonardo da Vinci. Together we are The Puns Are Starting to Bore Me.

Let me get my sourness out here. Javie, Salvatore, and Stafford ought to be taken out back and shot for the way they officiated that game. The touch fouls on the Cavalier bigs doomed them to early foul trouble, Dwight was given more calls than LeBron was given the entire series, and LeBron didn't get a tenth of the calls he got all season or in the playoffs. Right or wrong, that's a lack of consistency.
But, I've got to hand it to you guys. Howard took it to us, and Hedo and Lewis each hit some real daggers, but in my opinion, it was your supporting cast that really slit the Cavs' throat. Pietrus, Alston, and Lee hitting shots just really made it impossible to defend you guys. Looking back, you guys taking Game 1 is what really made it possible for you guys.
I don't believe you will be able to keep it (the 50 percent shooting) up against the Lakers, but I wish you guys luck in that first championship that the Cavaliers are still looking for.
