You know Dwight, just when I think your little press conference couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this and totally redeem yourself.
After Game 5 and Dwight's words we all wondered how would this team respond. There were reports about Stan's job and Dwight's lack of a post game as a reason for his lack of touches, and we were about to write the obituary on the 2008-2009 season as one that like all Magic seasons prior ended in disappointment and what ifs.
But Dwight decided to come out and set the tone on both ends with rebounding and aggressive play. He collected 10 offensive rebounds on his way to a 22 rebound performance to go with his 23 points. Although Perkins still did a good job pushing him out of good position he did not get down on himself, stuck with it and was able to get some easy points. Dwight's defensive and rebound work also kept Orlando in the game as they only had 45 points midway through the 3rd quarter and it seemed like nothing was going to fall all night. However they stuck with the game plan and kept attacking and got good looks. It was rewarded with 31 free throws (although the 14 misses left alot to be desired) and 13 more offensive possessions.
Not the prettiest game on the eyes but one the Magic dug down deep to pull off. So here we are looking at Game 7 at the new Garden and trying to put a 1 in the loss column as the Celtics are 32-0 in series they lead 3-2 and as we all know have won some pretty big Game 7's at home the last 2 years. It will take a darn near perfect game on both ends of the floor to pull it off but for now on this night this team has restored my belief.

We are Terry and The Pump Fakes, Jareth Cutestory, Vile Feminista, Maxwell Effort, I 3 Freely, Paul Ego, Supply and Demand, El Fantasma de Carlos, The Big Train, The Nickel Steak, Ayo!, and Tyson J. Perfect. Together, we are Magic fans. We remember Nick’s steal against Jordan, Billy Donovan, Scott Skiles, Jerryl Sasser and Reece Gaines, The Mac Attacks, the NBA on NBC, and Grant Hill’s ankle. We also watch TV and read the internet, thus noticing the endless flow of unoriginal Orlando Magic related puns. We have combined to discuss the Magic, the NBA, and from time to time supply side economics and the life of Leonardo da Vinci. Together we are The Puns Are Starting to Bore Me.
