If you are reading this blog right now then you probably are aware that Dwight Howard won the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year Award. Also our very own Hedo Turkoglu got a 3rd place vote and I can only assume that person's vote will no longer be valid after this year.
What you might not be aware of is that the Associated Press has a some good quotes from Dwight Howard from last night and expressed his displeasure with his lack of touches in the 4th quarter and the perception of his team.
Red-eyed and beat down, the usually happy-go-lucky Orlando Magic center said Monday he “would like to see the ball” more at the end of games and is fed up with those bashing his team’s playoff toughness after they lost to the Sixers in an epic collapse.
“I hate hearing about it. It makes me mad,” Howard said. “Anytime somebody talks about my team and the organization, yea I’m going to get upset.”
As we pointed out here Dwight is starting to take the role of team leader and hopefully this anger and frustration will carry over to his teammates as well and they will lay a beating on the Sixers.

The Mission. The Statement.
We are Terry and The Pump Fakes, Jareth Cutestory, Vile Feminista, Maxwell Effort, I 3 Freely, Paul Ego, Supply and Demand, El Fantasma de Carlos, The Big Train, The Nickel Steak, Ayo!, and Tyson J. Perfect. Together, we are Magic fans. We remember Nick’s steal against Jordan, Billy Donovan, Scott Skiles, Jerryl Sasser and Reece Gaines, The Mac Attacks, the NBA on NBC, and Grant Hill’s ankle. We also watch TV and read the internet, thus noticing the endless flow of unoriginal Orlando Magic related puns. We have combined to discuss the Magic, the NBA, and from time to time supply side economics and the life of Leonardo da Vinci. Together we are The Puns Are Starting to Bore Me.
